Trae Young was diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his right knee, sources told Shams Charania and Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
Young will be re-evaluated in four weeks.
Young, who suffered the injury on Wednesday, underwent an MRI on Friday. The tests showed he dodged major structural damage to his knee.
Young is averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 assists on the season.
