2024 Fantasy Football Preview: Top Tight Ends

The final offensive position group left on the 2024 Fantasy rankings is the Tight Ends. This can be the most challenging group to select from, as there are really 3-5 elite options every season. Here are my top fantasy Tight Ends you should draft heading into the 2024 season, make sure to check out my other position group rankings on The HUB NFL page.

1.Sam LaPorta, Lions - Iowa is no doubt Tight End University nowadays and the Hawkeyes added another All-Pro to that list with Sam LaPorta. In his rookie season, LaPorta led all TEs in 2023 in PPG and total points. With another season under his belt, there is a serious conversation about who is the best TE in football now, which has been Kelce or Kittle for the past half-decade.

2. Mark Andrews, Ravens - One of Lamar Jackson's favorite targets throughout his entire career has been the reliable Andrews. The former Sooner ranked #2 in PPG in 2023, despite missing 6 games with an injury. I know not seeing Kelce or Kittle in the top two may be surprising, but the TE position always has a great amount of surprises every season.

3. Travis Kelce, Chiefs - Despite what many football media outlets made it seem last season, Kelce had a great season. From the years 2016 to 2022, Kelce was the top PPR TE in all of football besides just 1 season, which is an incredible run. Even with all the off-the-field distractions, Kelce performed at a high level finishing 3rd in total points and 2nd in PPG. Kelce has shown his game will age well, and will most likely be a top TE until his retirement.

4. Trey Mcbride, Cardinals - You would be forgiven to not have heard his name prior to last season, But Mcbride balled out in the second half of 2023. On an awful Cardinals team, Mcbride was 3rd in TE points from Week 8 to the end of the season, which also coincided with the injury/ release of TE Zach Ertz. With a fully healthy Kyler Murray, Mcbride is a slept on asset that you could snag in the later rounds, and could be the reason you win your fantasy league.

5. Kyle Pitts, Falcons - Call me crazy, but I predict this is finally the year Pitts breaks out. He came out of Florida as a generational prospect but was horribly misused by former head coach Arthur Smith. With Kirk Cousins and a new coaching staff, the plan is simple, get your playmakers the ball. Pitts has dealt with injuries in his young career and looks to be fully healthy for the first time in a while. This could finally be the season we see Pitts put up historic numbers, which is why the Falcons drafted him #4 in 2021.

Those are my final rankings for all offensive position groups, QB RB WR & TE. I may do some rankings on defenses and other guys that could be steals later on, so you can excel this fantasy season. Once again, check out my other offensive ranking articles on the Hub, and good luck in your fantasy seasons!
