This upcoming MLB season will be an exciting one, to say the least. Individual awards can really shape and mold a career. Here are my early predictions for the 2024 season.
NL MVP: Austin Riley
Coming off a second Silver Slugger Award, Atlanta’s Riley is ready to make his mark once again. He is hungry for another World Series title.
NL Cy Young: Zack Wheeler
After signing a three-year $126 million dollar extension with the Phillies, Wheeler has even more to prove. He was a key factor to their 2022 World Series run and their 2023 NLCS appearance.
NL ROY: Jung Hoo Lee
Lee is coming off five Golden Glove Awards in the Korea Baseball Organization League, and I think he will make a very smooth transition into the MLB.
AL MVP: Corey Seager
Fresh off a World Series victory, World Series MVP and Silver Slugger Award, Seager is going to wreak more havoc in the association.
AL Cy Young: Corbin Burnes
Burnes is making his debut with the Orioles in 2024. The former Cy Young Award winner looks to propel the hot Orioles team deep in the postseason.
AL ROY: Jackson Holliday
The former number one draft pick dominated in the minor leagues, where he was named Minor League Player of the Year. The shortstop is fired up and ready to be a key piece to Baltimore.
