Fistfight in the stands during USA vs. Mexico

During the USA vs. Mexico soccer match on Sunday night, a huge brawl broke out in the stands, with spectators hurling haymakers left and right. The crazy incident was all caught on camera.

It happened during the United States' 2-0 victory against Team Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League final at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was evident that Team Mexico supporters had had enough of a smug American fan.

Then everything went crazy as other individuals entered the altercation to try to hit someone.

There were at least four persons throwing hands throughout the about 30-second-long brawl. Some in the stadium threw their beverages at the fighters during the altercation.

Thankfully, the American backer was knocked over a row of seats to terminate the tilt.

Although it's unclear if anybody was taken into custody, there were other instances of fan misconduct over the evening, including many occasions when the game had to be paused because of supporters using derogatory language directed at people of color.

ConcACAF denounced the activities in a late-night statement, stating, "It is extremely disappointing that this matter continues to be an issue at some matches."

"We will continue to urge fans to support their teams positively and with respect for the opposition and all participants in the game."

The actual match was a shambles; Mexico never put a test on US goalkeeper Matt Turner as the USMNT cruised through. After Christian Pulisic broke past the Mexican defense, Tyler Adams scored a goal that will live in history, and Gio Reyna added the game-winning goal.

The United States has won every Concacaf league tournament, beating El Tri on all three occasions. This was the USMNT's third consecutive Nations League triumph over Mexico. With two Nations League titles and a Gold Cup, it was USMNT coach Gregg Berhalter's third triumph as head coach of the national team. In terms of trophies won, Gregg Berhalter and Bruce Arena are now tied as the USMNT's all-time winningest coaches.

Nevertheless, Team USA popped champagne bottles all over their locker room after the match to celebrate their historic victory.
