Soto is displaying an all around game that is rare, and he might be the most dominant player in the league right now.
The Yankees have the second best record in baseball right now and Juan Soto’s play is a big reason for that. His 37 RBI’s are third amongst players in the MLB, that means Soto has been clutch in tight games for New York. Soto has helped this contending Yankees team find their rhythm.
The 25 year old phenom has a lot of season left, but he is on pace to be top 10 in RBI’s, home runs and batting average. Those accomplishments along with having a top three record in baseball, he will be an AL MVP candidate. He recorded a 2 home run and 3 RBI game vs the White Sox this past week, and more games like that will come.
Soto is having a stellar season, but he will have to keep this up in order for the Yankees to see championship glory again. They haven’t won a World Series since 2009, and with their current roster led by Soto, this is their best chance in a very long time.
