Manchester City wins the 2023/24 Premier League title.

With two goals from Phil Foden and a third from Rodri, City created history by winning the English Premier League for an unprecedented fourth time in a row.

The excitement and suspense of the last Premier League day of the season ultimately lasted less than a minute, as Manchester City defeated West Ham 3-1 to secure a historic fourth consecutive title thanks to a sensational early goal from Phil Foden.

With two points in front of Arsenal heading into the final day, City knew that only a victory would ensure that it would keep the championship, while the Gunners needed to win and pray that Pep Guardiola's team either drew or lost.

Arsenal played to the very end, winning 2-1 against Everton at home to finish two painful points behind City, but Foden's goal made little difference to what was occurring 200 miles south in North London.

"Not a single side has ever accomplished what we have", Foden, who was also named Premier League Player of the Season, said to Sky Sports.

You understand what it means to us, the fans. We were the first side to win the Premier League title, so it was a little more [special] since no team had done it before. I'm at a loss for words. I'm completely broken.

We've run over this situation a few times, and I believe it helped calm our worries since we seemed assured today. We had success playing football on our own.

Foden, who is still just 23 years old, has already won an incredible six Premier League championships. He is definitely not taking this sensation for granted.

He said, "I never get tired of it." "I always want to feel like this. There's no greater thrill than winning something. All I want is to keep winning as much as possible.

There was no question now. The trophy from the Premier League would remain in Manchester.

The celebration had officially begun. For the next thirty-five minutes, City played the game like a training session, passing the ball around with a composure and poise that belied the magnitude of the event.

if the game was coming down to the wire, Manchester City supporters started "the Poznań," throwing their arms around each other and bouncing up and down with their backs to the field.

Even though Kai Havertz gave Arsenal the victory over Everton in the 89th minute while they were back in London, it was the palest of victories.

The crowd at the Etihad erupted in a thunderous shout as the referee blew the full-time whistle to the strains of City's club hymn, Blue Moon. As hundreds of fans rushed onto the field to rejoice, blue smoke ignited by flares filled the air.

One of the best teams in Premier League history, if not the best, has been assembled by Guardiola.

Now that Manchester City has gone to places no side in English football has gone before, it will probably take an enormous effort from Arsenal or maybe Liverpool after Jurgen Klopp to topple this powerhouse the next season.
