Sunday will start the greatest stretch of the year, there will be NFL football every week from now until February. Week 1 is always one of the hardest weeks to predict games against the spread, as we have no idea what teams look like so far this year. With that being said, I will try my best to give my picks ats for NFL week 1.
Giants (+1.5) Vs. Vikings - Why are the Gmen underdogs at home to a team that has Sam Darnold at QB? I truly have no clue, I get the Daniel Jones slander, but this line should be Giants favored by 1, not underdogs, gimme big blue. (Giants +1.5)
Saints (-4) Vs. Panthers - One of the uglier matchups this week, but i do believe this is one of the few times the Panthers can get a win this year. The fans of the Saints despise their team, and the boo bird will be out early in NOLA. (Panthers +4)
Bengals (-7.5) Vs. Patriots - This is the largest line of the weekend, and if theres one thing i love, is a large NFL underdog. The Bengals start slow every season, I'll take the points with the Pats. (Patriots +7.5)
Bears (-3.5) Vs. Titans - NFL 1st overall picks are 0-10 ATS in their last 10 games, but I believe that changes Sunday. No #1 pick has walked into a better situation than Caleb, and he wins his first-ever NFL start. (Bears -3.5)
Dolphins (-3.5) Vs. Jaguars - Tua and company love playing in the summer weather, and this offensive will be prolific. (Dolphins -3.5)
Falcons (-3.5) Vs. Steelers - Arthur Smith is the OC against his former team, this game could get ugly quick, but Atlanta has too many weapons to contain (Falcons -3.5)
Bills (-6.5) Vs. Cardinals - Like the Patriots before, i love a big underdog in week 1, i think this game will be high-scoring, with the Cardinals hanging around for the majority of the game. (Cardinals +6.5)
Colts (+3) Vs. Texans - Every single season these two teams split the season, and the away team seems to come out on top. Although i do love AR5, I'll take the hype train with CJ Stroud. (Texans -3)
Chargers (-3) Vs. Raiders - This will be a Raiders home game essentially, but the Chargers take care of business with Harbaugh. (Chargers -3)
Seahawks (-6) Vs. Broncos - BO Nix in his first-ever game will struggle mightily, the 12th man gives the Seahawks the edge. (Seahawks -6)
Browns (-2.5) Vs. Cowboys - Tom Brady NFL debut, in the booth that is, Cleveland's defense is one of the best in the NFL at home, and the Dallas offensive will struggle. (Browns -2.5)
Lions (-4.5) Vs. Rams - A rematch from the wild card game last year, Lions will win again, but i really don't know who takes it against the spread. (Rams +4.5)
49ers (-4.5) Vs. Jets - Trent Williams will play, McCaffrey is playing, but the Jets are coming for blood on Monday Night Football. I think this is a perfect spot for the Jets to catch the reigning NFC champs. (Jets +4.5)
