Top 5 Landing Spots for Jimmy Goroppolo

5. New York Jets

It is seemly possible for the Jets to trade Zach Wilson this upcoming offseason, which would mean that they need a backup. With Rodger's coming back, and seemly wanting to make a Super Bowl run, no better choice than someone has the experience like Goroppolo.

4. New York Giants

Even though Tommy DeVito showed he definitely belongs, the Giants may not view him at a long term starting QB. Jimmy Goroppolo has proven he is a capable starter and in case of another Daniel Jones injury, they might want to bring in a capable backup.

3. Miami Dolphins

Even though Tua took a giant leap this year and stayed fully healthy while doing so, this is the NFL and injuries do happen and it has happened to Tua. Goroppolo would be a great veteran addition to be QB2 and it would be a easy transition being that Jimmy and McDaniels worked together back in San Francisco.

2. Denver Broncos

It's no secret that Denver has been struggling at the Quarterback position for the past 8 years, and even though they most likely will draft a top prospect in the upcoming draft, Goroppolo would be a great veteran pickup for Sean Payton. With the hope of developing the rookie to be a long term solution, Goroppolo would serve great as a bridge mentor.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers

Two years after making Kenny Pickett the 20th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be ready to bring in competition for their soon-to-be 26-year-old QB. And it doesn't have be in the form of another top pick. Jimmy rarely has a bad season and even though last year was a different story, he still has a Win-Loss record of 57-24. He could definitely bring a good competition for the 26 year old.
