Stephanie Vaquer def. Wren Sinclair
The hype is real as NXT’s newest sensation Stephanie Vaquer shined in her debut against Wren Sinclair.
The No Quarter Catch Crew Superstar did her best to keep up, but the vicious offense from The Dark Angel was as brutal as it was impressive, allowing Vaquer to win comfortably.
After the match, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade launched on sneak attack on Vaquer, prompting Giulia to save her.
Lexis King def. Oro Mensah – Gentleman’s Duel
Lexis King proved he could win fair and square by defeating Oro Mensah in a Gentleman’s Duel.
Both Superstars were exhausted in the ring after a tense back-and-forth, andĀ KingĀ proved to be the better technician after a perfect bridge pin to keep Mensah down.
The two Superstars seemed to settle their longstanding beef with a handshake after the match.Ā
Nikkita Lyons def. Lola Vice
Nikkita Lyons roared back to NXT with a big win over Lola Vice thanks to an assist from Jaida Parker.
Vice and Lyons used their striking to try toĀ gain an advantage, but it wasn’t until Jaida Parker entered the fray that the match shifted.Ā
Parker attempted to grab hold of Vice, and when the referee had his back turned, she hit a brutal Hipnotic, allowing Lyons to hit a Vader Bomb to score the win.
Ridge Holland def. Riley Osborne
The rampaging Ridge Holland picked up another victory over a Chase U member, but a ghost from his past has come back to haunt him.
Holland decimated Riley Osborne despite a valiant effort from the young Chase U Superstar, hitting a Redeemer to mercifully end the match.
However, Andre Chase returned to save his pupil from a post-match beatdown and send Holland running to the back.
Brooks Jensen def. Ashante Thee Adonis
Brooks Jensen continues to rack up wins, this time against NXT’s resident ladies man, Ashante “Thee” Adonis.
Adonis used his speed and athleticism to disorient Jensen, but it wasn’t long before the brutish Jensen gained control and kept Adonis on the mat.
Out of nowhere, Karmen Petrovic appeared and dumped rose petals on the apron, mystifying Adonis long enough for Jensen to nail a match-ending DDT.
Ethan Page def. Wes Lee and Je’von Evans – No. 1 Contender Triple Threat Match
Former NXT Champion Ethan Page is heading to Halloween Havoc after overcoming Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans in a Triple Threat Match.
All three Superstars gave it their all, with Evans risking everything by attempting a huge splash onto the announce table from inside the ring.
With Lee down and out, Evans nailed a corkscrew splash, but the savvy Page rolled him up and used leverage to win the match and secure his spot as the No. 1 Contender.
