Insider Reveals What Chiefs Are Looking For At Trade Deadline

The Kansas City Chiefs haven’t lost a game since last December.

This season, they’re 7-0 and have one of the toughest defenses in the NFL.

Their offense, however, continues to be a work in progress.

They’ve suffered some big blows, personnel-wise, and while they continue to win games, they know they could use some more firepower.

That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to hear they’re reportedly still in the market for help.

“If a wide receiver falls into their laps, I’m told they are going to try to land another one with Skyy Moore on IR,” according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.

The Chiefs already traded for DeAndre Hopkins, who should become more of a factor in the passing game as the season progresses.

With the NFL trade deadline upcoming after Week 9, there aren’t that many big-name options available at this point, but the Chiefs have also been successful at bringing the best out of lesser-known players.

No team has ever won three straight Super Bowls, but the Chiefs have looked strong in their two-time title defense and know what it takes to get the job done.

Why teams continue to make trades with them is anybody’s guess, but Chiefs general manager Brett Veach deserves as much credit for this epic run as head coach Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and all the rest of the players.

Veach might still have another ace up his sleeve, and it’ll be interesting to see if he can get another star to help out Mahomes.
