Joy Taylor Reveals Her NFL MVP Choice

The race for this year’s MVP award in the NFL has seemingly been whittled down to just a couple of real candidates with two weeks left in the regular season.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who is having a truly special season and is on his way to finishing with over 2,000 rushing yards, was discussed as a candidate, but now it is down to quarterbacks Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

Allen is a strong favorite over Jackson, and Joy Taylor said on Fox Sports 1’s “Speak” that Allen would get her vote because he has taken a Buffalo Bills team that was expected to go nowhere to near the top of the AFC.

The Bills went 11-6 last season thanks to a five-game winning streak at the end of the regular season, but they lost in the divisional round to the Kansas City Chiefs, and when they traded Stefon Diggs in the offseason, they were expected to fall into mediocrity.

Instead, they have a 12-3 record through Week 16, and a growing number of people seem to feel they’re the best team in the conference.

Allen has thrown for 3,549 yards and 26 touchdowns and has run for 514 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns, and he leads the NFL with a 76.7 QBR.

He has helped third-year wide receiver Khalil Shakir emerge as a playmaking threat, and the midseason trade for five-time Pro Bowl WR Amari Cooper has given him another threat in the air.

With the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs looking vulnerable, this could be the season the Bills finally win the Vince Lombardi Trophy that has always eluded them.
