The home of Luka Doncic was burglarized Friday night, the latest in a series of break-ins at the homes of high-profile athletes.
“No one was home at the time, and thankfully Luka and his family are safe,” his business manager Lara Beth Seager said. “Luka has filed a police report, and an investigation is ongoing.”
Doncic is currently out for at least a month with a strained left calf.
The NBA revealed that the FBI has connected some burglaries to “transnational South American Theft Groups” that are “reportedly well-organized, sophisticated rings that incorporate advanced techniques and technologies, including pre-surveillance, drones, and signal jamming devices.”
